Dressing for a Trip: Part 4 of 4- on the ocean front

Hey readers,
And now get ready to read the concluding post of this series. It will perhaps be the last piece of styling for the Autumn Winter’13. Speaking of styling I just have to share with you some exciting hi-lights of the month that’s nearly coming to an end!

1. The main one has to be the sheer excitement of winning a double pass to the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival, Sydney. An evening spent with the fashion elite and a chance to meet with my favorite Autralian blogger Nikki of Styling You. The fabulous Maybelline makeover and goodie bag will be a fond memory indeed, courtesy Nikki. Go check Instagram for details on the goodie bag!

2. Writing for the second time in a row for Indian Link, a leading fortnightly paper for the Indian Community in Sydney. Do check the Press page of the blog to read my articles.

3.Some fabulous styling opportunities that came knocking the door just as I contemplated taking styling seriously!

4. But wait there’s a negative hi-light of the month too- The shopping ban took a nose dive! And let me not make excuses here, coz I am to blame for it completely!
It turned out OK though as I dressed for the fashion event with confidence and right on trend too:-)

Ok, lets talk about the outfit now- An overcast winter day on the ocean front may not seem like fun but the fun part was to dress warm and look stylish!
A simple striped knit pullover with just a pop of color and some studs n spikes make this look both trendy and wearable.

Striped knit pullover- Markets, Black denim leggings- SES Fashion, Green stud flats- Rubi shoes, neon necklace- Lovisa, Leather bag- Mother’s day gift,
I’d love to hear your views on trendy and easy to wear outfit ideas..and if you like this look, you can create it yourself too with these fantastic on sale pieces!
1. Cardigan- Birds of paradise, 2. Jeggings- Sussan, 3. Cross body bag- Colorado, 4.Red necklace- Equip, 5. Stud slipper flats- Rubi shoes
I’d love to see how you styled it!
