Dressing for an event: Movie and coffee date

Hi readers, as promised here’s the next post featuring ‘dressing for an event’ again. This time it was a much awaited movie afternoon, mainly coz I hadn’t been to the cinemas for a while (that’s what happens with a tiny tot in your life!)..Anyway it was an enjoyable event and the movie proved true to its expectation but that’s another story!

You take a look at the outfit and enjoy the pics of some of the most scrumptious wedges and mouth watering bruschetta we enjoyed with piping hot coffee at Coffee Club. I absolutely love the food here and of course the range of coffee. Its a perfect sit down cafe experience with ‘Good Food. Great Service and Excellent Coffee’…like their slogan too!

Pondering over the cappuccino…and my hair needed some TLC for sure!!

And now the story about the outfit..I was in the mood to dress up like a movie critic, you know a bit arty and dark..with just the right amount of color, a hint of dark eye shadow and statement jewelry to match.

Black knit top- gift, Green cardigan- Sussan, Necklace- custom made gift from Mum, Dark indigo jeans- Esprit (also seen here), Steel blue leather tote- Mother’s day gift, Green flats- Rubi Shoes
Ever since I bought this cardigan I’ve been in love with it ..the fresh green and soft texture makes me want to style it again and again in different ways. I was delighted when I scored this piece from Sussan (which by the way is my all time favorite store) on sale. Find the store review here

So I couldn’t help but peek into the store window when it was just next door to the Coffee Club!

Next question that comes to your mind is..did I find some great deals in store? You bet! Luckily it was the last day before my shopping ban!!

PS- I’m now 20 days into the ban and I’m surprised how well its going..I’m actually able to ignore online shopping mails and store displays!
