Hello happy readers:) Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.
It has been the most amazing couple of weeks filled with festivities, feasts, family and friends celebrating our most loved festival. It was an opportunity to meet people and speaking of opportunities I did get to talk about styling and trends to some of my keen fashionista friends.
So let’s talk about one of the most popular Spring trend- Broderie!
‘Elegance with prints’ – The elegance of white broderie (traditionally a combination of needlework, cutwork and embroidery) needs minimal to create an outfit that looks graceful. Adding a statement piece like this printed pencil skirt is perfect for a Spring formal do.

‘Delicate with distressed’- This delicate black broderie inspired top was love at first sight for me. When I first saw it on the website I just knew it was one of those pieces that was super versatile, trendy and great value for money too. Pairing it with distressed jeans and yet another big trend – the lace up flats would be just ideal for the weekends. Keep your make up dewy fresh and add a luxurious cross body bag for a quick posh look.
‘Casual with a touch of lady-like’ – A broderie skirt is undoubtedly lady- like, add a silk blouse and neat wedges to bring on the best of smart casual. You probably only need an accessory or two preferably in rose gold to complete the look. Carry a statement wallet or clutch to lift the look a few notches.
